Set Your Affection – your Lion Bites word for today

Don’t set the affections of your heart on this world or in loving the things of the world. The love of the Father and the love of the world are incompatible.

My Sons and Daughters, set your affections on me. Look to me; linger in your time with me. The things of the world are bright and glittery for a moment, but they don’t satisfy. I’m calling my children back to a time of fellowship with me, the Father, who loves you wholly and perfectly. Five minutes in my love will grow to ten and ten to twenty as you begin to learn that time spent with your eyes on me gives far more satisfaction than any television programme, social media newsfeed, newspaper, etc. Put me first!

I am longing for children who take delight in me for they know that I satisfy with all good things. Set your affection on me.
