Set Apart

My people, you are living in sobering times. This doesn’t mean you should be afraid. Quite the opposite, you are my children and I’m calling you to set the pace, change the atmosphere, and bring Kingdom culture. To this end, however, I’m requiring you to step up into a higher tier.

As you go about your everyday life, take heed to what and who is around you. Ask me to enhance your discernment. Remember that my Word says: you are not of the world, just as I am not of it (John 17:16). I have set you apart as a royal priesthood, a holy nation (1 Peter 2:9), born again of incorruptible seed (1 Peter 1:23) therefore don’t allow sin to soil you, whatever that may look like. 

Be attuned to the melody of my spirit in order to recognise immediately what is off-key. I am sending you like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes (Matthew 10:16) and read the enemy’s ambush to gain ground.

Consider reading Matthew 13:24-30 and compare it to the situation in the world today. Then come back and ponder on the following verses:

v.25: What could the tares that have been sown in your field without you realising it look like? Ask the Lord to search your heart and reveal any bitter root that might attempt to corrupt its purity.

v.26-29: Scripture describes God’s children as “good seed”. Life happens however, and you inevitably come across “bad seeds”. Enquire of the Holy Spirit what is a tailor-made strategy to live with them without being affected by them.v.30: We should all have a heart for lost souls. Pray to be stirred in the spirit and be active in soul harvesting for the Kingdom. Receive any blueprint of what your type of evangelisation may look like in this upcoming season.
