See Yourself As God Sees You – your Lion Bites word for today

“Child, today you stand in the doorway of this New Year, with all its exciting possibilities and all your hopes and dreams for a better year than the previous one. Yet, I see in your heart how you are overwhelmed by responsibilities, failures and needs and, as you enter this New Year, you don’t like what you sometimes see in yourself.

Take heart! Look at My disciples, they too were filled with flaws, they wanted to call down fire from heaven on the Samaritans’, even fighting over who was the greatest. Yet they were the leaders My son chose to build His church in and through because they were willing.

Come place yourself, with all your flaws. into the hands of Jesus and I will make you into His perfect, beautiful, humble, gracious, selfless, merciful and loving likeness. Come that I might cleanse and fill you with My power so that you will learn to love well from this day forward.

Now child, isn’t that the hope you want for the year ahead? It is My promise to you for 2017. It is where you will find peace, it is where you will find and obtain the desires of your heart. You need only to surrender to me again.
