See His Compassion – your Lion Bites word for today

Our merciful Father asks that you would turn your heart toward Him. Would you stop trying to mend the broken things by yourself so that they are only temporarily patched up? Would you quit the cycle of living in fleeting moments of wholeness and instead turn and receive the fullness of life that He has for you?

Focus on Him; take comfort and draw strength: He is El-Roi (‘The God Who Sees Me’). There is no part of your life that He will not renew and, as you allow Him to bring His refreshing, so too there will spring forth new shoots of hope and purpose.

Isaiah 30:18
Therefore the Lord longs to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; how blessed are all those who long for Him.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
