See beyond the natural – your Lion Bites word for today

2 Kings 16:17
And Elisha prayed, ‘Open his eyes, LORD, so that he may see.’ Then the LORD opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

The answer that you have been praying for is coming like a wave, released in God’s perfect timing. Take heart as you wait and open your eyes to see beyond the natural, beyond the relative hopelessness of what surrounds you. Step out of discouragement and into hope. Let your heart and spirit live in His reality and not what you see with your natural eyes.

Take hold of joy, lay hold of peace. He wants to use you. Don’t despise the small beginnings but instead draw joy out of each and every moment. You can create an atmosphere of thankfulness and praise that will accelerate the release of his heavenly army to bring victory to your situation. Demonstrate to those around you how, through being full of His light and His life, we can pull God’s promises for the future into our present reality, changing the atmosphere.

Habakkuk 3:17-18
Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Saviour.
