Safe in the Storms – your Lion Bites word for today

Receive the reassurance of the Lord: ‘As storms come and go, fix – and keep fixed – your gaze on me, then you will remain at peace and rest in the eye of the storm. Do not fear, my dear ones, for I have you safe in the eye of the storm. As the storm comes and goes, those born of me will remain standing and steadfast as they lock your gaze onto me.’

Psalm 27:5
For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock

There are storms which will touch every nation of the world. Dark storms that could confuse and bring disarray to the body of Christ. But know that, as these storms pass through the nations, the Lord will release waves of His might and power, and displays of His glory, so that He will be glorified and His people will overcome.

Persevere saints! The Lord is your champion and will keep you safe. We will overcome!
 
Psalm 55 v4-8
My heart is in anguish within me; the terrors of death have fallen on me. Fear and trembling have beset me; horror has overwhelmed me. I said, ‘Oh, that I had the wings of a dove! I would fly away and be at rest. I would flee far away and stay in the desert; I would hurry to my place of shelter, far from the tempest and storm.
