Safe in The Rock – your Lion Bites word for today

Some of us find ourselves in difficult circumstances but know it’s where we are meant to be. The Lord says “the situation you are in might appear perilous to those around you yet you have my peace in your heart and know that you are held fast and secure. To others it might appear fearful and inhospitable, yet it is the perfect environment for you to successfully birth and nurture that which I have prepared in advance for you.”

I saw sea birds nesting high in a cliff face that, to us, would appear inhospitable and dangerously exposed, yet there they choose to hatch their eggs in a place far out of reach. Their young are safe from harm and close to their food supply, a place to nurture before they grow strong and move on.

The Lord is saying to you “in this temporary harsh place you will have all you need to nurture and sustain the work I have for you to do and it will be kept out of harm’s reach. So receive all you need today to be at peace, knowing that exceptional things are birthed out of exceptional circumstances. You are in the perfect place for this time and this season.”

The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.
