The Lord is asking, “how long will you wait before stepping out of what has become comfortable and routine? This is a time of growth. Have you become too comfortable that you don’t want to grow anymore?”
Consider a plant grown up from seed. It takes a while to germinate, even with good soil and watering. But you have already grown so much that you are getting too big for your plant pot! Your roots have been squashed, and your leaves faded and yellow.
It’s time to step into the bigger pot! Allow yourself to be replanted by God into a more spacious place and enjoy the growth and blossoming. Enjoy the limitation breaking off and the freedom to grow in the new area God is leading you into.
Reflection- Ask the Lord where your growth may have become stunted and what needs to happen to stimulate flourishing to be like a plant positioned in the best place to thrive.
Galatians 5: 1 NIV
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
Colossians 2: 6-7 NIV
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
