Remember Why – your Lion Bites word for today

I call you to remember why you first fell in love with me, your Saviour and true friend. I call you to cast your mind back to the point you became so in love with who I am that you chose to pursue me. Focus on this moment and enjoy the experience again. What did it feel like? What did it look like? How did it change you?

Through the hustle and bustle of life I call you to remember that I am the consistent God; that I am constant and my love for you never changes. As you focus on who I am, remember and rekindle the love you have for me. Even in the weariness of your pursuit of me I treasure the love that you give to me. Although it may seem small to you, remember that it meant and still means the world to me. What you give to me is not too little and I do not despise the efforts that you are ashamed about.

Remember why you fell in love with me. Remember that it was not because of what you could do for me but what I did for you.
