Often life becomes a constant panic and it is easy to feel as though you never stop running around, completing tasks and making lists of new tasks to do. You may have a full house of young children to get ready for school or, your email inbox may be reaching an uncontrollable amount of unread messages. Assignment deadlines may be looming around the corner or a job search might not be going to plan. The hubbub of life often causes there to be an unusual amount of panic to arise.
Stop! The Lord is saying āLion Bites, remember to breathe! Not just a quick or an out-of-breath one. Remember to breathe deeply! It is my breath that gave and continues to give you life and it was with one breath that I created the Heavenly hosts*. My breath trumps all panic and cancels its effects. As you fix your gaze and choose to breathe, you are receiving and submitting to the pace of life I intended you to live under. As you exhale, you are pushing out panic, choosing to reject and no longer live by it. Lion Bites, remember to breathe!ā
Psalm 33:6
By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, And by the breath of His mouth all their host.
