Remember the cause for Christmas –  your Lion Bites word for today

At this time of year, as we celebrate the Saviour’s birth, let us keep our eyes and minds on what His birth meant for each one of us; He was born to die so that we might live. Wow!

All of Jesus’ 33 years on earth He knew He had to die. Those 33 years were full of lessons that we learn from as we read in our Bible – Father God’s ‘handbook on life’ if you like!

As He walked this life, He could have called 10,000 angels to destroy the world and get Him out of here, but He stayed. He continued the course, for each one of us, His sons and daughters. He loved you and me so much that He was willing to die.
He chose a relationship with you and me over everything else He had to bear. Yes, He was the babe who came at Christmas, but He also was and is your Saviour.

As you wish Jesus a ‘Happy Birthday’ this year, don’t forget to thank Him for all He’s done for you. Remember the cause for Christmas.
