Refix your eyes on the Alpha and Omega – your Lion Bites word for today

Lord Jesus cries out to His children, ‘Don’t let our precious time together be snatched away by distractions and circumstances.’ There is an onslaught of distracting temptations, seeking to lure believers and destroy their focus on the one who is the beginning and the end of things. Beware false beginnings and false ends in this season and look to the one who is the Alpha and Omega, the Almighty. Pursue what He has placed before you and be deliberate and firm in your rejection of what is not from Him.

Remind yourself of who He is. He is the source and He is the end of days. He is Almighty. He spread out the heavens and put the stars in their places. He channelled out the oceans and filled their depths. Great nations and kingdoms have come, have gone and are long forgotten… but still He remains.   

And He says to you now, ‘I have given you breath for such a time as this and I rejoice over you with singing. Man’s life is fleeting and finds its meaning in me alone. So fix your eyes on me. Don’t let our precious time together be snatched away by distractions and circumstances. Choose me. Choose to spend your life with me and on me, as I gave mine for you. Lavish your precious time on me as I have poured out my love outrageously on you.
