Raise Your Gaze, Part 2

What you thought would take years, I can do in a single day.

Breakthrough and release, new life being restored.

The work of My Spirit goes on and out of sight.

But I am working in the hidden and dark places; here I will bring My light.

A specialist for the broken heart, to bind up the wounded and make whole.

A full work of restoration, to the frightened weary soul.

So watch for My Spirit’s movement, though you may not perceive the hour.

As the wind blows through the trees, so you know the signs of My power.

I break chains and release the captives.

I am the One who has overcome.

I am the specialist for broken hearts.

I will bring healing and answer your heart’s call.

Activation: Raise your gaze! Ask the Lord to show you what He is doing in situations that have concerned you or are important to you. Thank Him that He sees it and is moving as you pray in faith. Intercede and ask Him to move in these situations and commit it all to Him.

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,   to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favour and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendour.

…the wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit.
