Puddle jumping

In a vision I saw a small child, dressed in raincoat and wellies, jumping in and out of the puddles. There was such laughter and joy over the face of the little one. The child turned to the Father and said, ‘Come on daddy, it’s your turn’. With great delight I watched as the Father also began to jump in the puddles with the little one. There were lots of giggles and laughter as the two of them enjoyed their time together; it didn’t matter that they were getting wet and messy, it was just such a fun filled time of joy!

Our Heavenly Father longs for you to spend time with Him. It could be that you have forgotten this and even become too proud to get messy and have fun. Perhaps you want to make sure you stay spotless in the eyes of others – you’re not comfortable with others seeing you as childish and so you resist relaxing and having fun. Yet, Father God longs for those innocent moments, which He has cherished in His heart. Won’t you become like a little child again?

Matthew 18:3
And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.
