Pruned for Glory – your Lion Bites word for today

As 2016 turned to 2017, I heard the spirit of the Lord decree “you have been pruned for Glory!”

And God says “in the previous year you have known My hand of pruning as I have come and refined relationships, visions, ministries, careers, dreams, and pursuits. I cut back areas of stability and consistency in your life to make room for something new to come. Know this, your season of pruning was not in response to disobedience but to your hunger – you cried out for more, therefore I came in and prepared you to receive a greater measure.

For I have pruned you for Glory!

I call 2017 your year of greater glory – a year where I come with the weight of who I am and begin to envelop your life. For you have endured a time of thirst and of hunger and your persistence throughout has invited me to come and manifest myself like you have never known.

Glory is coming with new relationships and new pursuits. It is coming with a clarity of vision and an unlocking of flourishing – in your health and finance. Glory is coming to you.”

For some, there is still a little time of pruning in your life and, if this is for you, ask God what has to go to make space for His glory to come. For others, you are a clear space and God says to you “now contend for My glory to invade.”
