Provision for you

I am your Provider. I am surely Jehovah Jireh, “The Lord Will Provide”. You have read about, heard about, studied and believed in the lives of people who were provided for by me. You know and believe that my provision, my gracious hand was always upon their shoulder… and that my provision continues throughout history.

Why then would I stop at you? Of course I wouldn’t! You are my child. You are chosen. You are special and precious to me, you are unique and one of a kind. I did not create you, send my Son for you and gift you with my Holy Spirit, only to stop there and withdraw.

No, you do not see my provision because you are looking at your own hands, expecting it to be there. Instead, look to your left, and look to your right. I have prepared two baskets, one on your left, one on your right. They are there for your provision, you will find all you need there. I am your Jehovah Jireh and The Lord Will provide.

Genesis 22:13-14
Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son. So Abraham called that place The LORD Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided.”
