Prevailing Prayer – your Lion Bites word for today

I see the fist of a man as it crushes a nation. There it is again, in another land. A different hand but the same oppression. You see it too. I hear the cry of the people, millions and millions of people, devastated, overwhelmed – sheep without a shepherd. I know you hear that too. Lion Bites, your prayers are powerful and effective in this most holy of battles, as you pray for the overwhelmed lands, for the victims, for the terrorised, the bullied, and the persecuted ones.

But will you pray also for the oppressors, because I love them too? Today I am releasing to all who will choose to walk with me in this, a special enduring season of grace for compassionate, informed and prevailing prayer for the tyrants and the dictators. I have many Sauls in mind. I yearn for their salvation with a deep agony. I am looking for unshakeable intercessors who will pledge their hearts to me. See what the world will look like as leaders of nations come to my light! Will you receive this charge? Will you embrace the unloveable ones with my love?

To all who say ‘Yes’, I will commission you in the secret place and give you the name of the one I call you to intercede for. I will download strategy for prayer. I will give you guidance. I will connect you supernaturally to others who have the same mission. I will lead you in ways of intercession that you have not yet known.

And I will shout with joy as you finally dance in the victory parade beside your Saul!

Acts 9:3-6
