Prepare your Weapons

At a time of war on the Earth, I am calling you to be ready for a higher type of battle – one that thwarts the enemy’s attacks. In my kingdom, things work differently. While soldiers prepare their guns as weapons, My word is a weapon. I am telling you that it is time to immerse yourself in my Word and let your heart soak in it. Regardless of what happens in the earth, I want you to be led by my Spirit in releasing my word; releasing scriptures that are like bombs in the adversary’s camp. This is not a time to sit and wait; it is a time to be violent in the spirit.

There will  be periods of battle when it’s time to fight, and also periods of rest. After each battle, remain in a posture of worship. In that place, you will find rest in me, and I will restore your strength and revive your energy. And as you worship me, I will give you new strategies and assignments. And you will see that as you are led by me and remain in a posture of worship, every battle will be easy and light, and you will be prepared to conquer more.

Activation: Start the day with an act of worship as the Lord leads; whatever that means for you, it may even be walking or gardening, but do so as instructed by the Lord. As you are connecting with the Lord, ask Holy Spirit which Scripture or Scriptures you should read and delve into, and for how long (a day, a week, a month, etc.)  Meditating on the word of God is powerful so as he reveals the scriptures to you, ask Him to show you how to use them as weapons of warfare against the enemy’s plans.

Matthew 11:12 (ESV)

From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force.

Matthew 11:28-30 (NIV)

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

Psalms 100:2-4 (NIV)

Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
