Prepare for the Bridegroom – your Lion Bites word for today

Revelation 22:20
He who testifies to these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming soon.’
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

Make ready and prepare for the arrival of the coming Bridegroom King!

The Lord is speaking to His Bride, heed His words of power and of truth, â€˜I am coming and I will have my Bride made ready in this hour! For she is beautiful and she is strong but she is not yet ready for my arrival and now is the time to prepare.’

Do not delay in making yourself ready, for the King is coming and the point of His arrival draws ever closer. Come now and allow the Holy Spirit of the Lord to make you ready. Bathe in the presence of the Spirit, allow Him to pour anointing oil upon you and his sweet perfumes; hear His words of instruction and of preparation, for the day is at hand and is coming soon.

Esther was chosen as a Bride and taken into the King’s house. She was anointed with oils and perfumes, given the best food and prepared for the King over a period of 12 months. There was a process which took time and yet there was a wedding day, the arrival point. The preparation process took place up to the day of marriage.

We do not want to be those who are not made ready for our Bridegroom Jesus and so in these precious days of preparation we ask the Lord, ‘What must I do to be made ready? What is my preparation to be? Seek the Lord and He will answer you. Be attentive to the Holy Spirit’s leading and the nuances of this season.

Time is short. Prepare and do not delay. The Wedding Day is at hand! The Spirit and the Bride say, ‘Come Lord Jesus!’

Esther 2:12-13
Before a young woman’s turn came to go in to King Xerxes, she had to complete twelve months of beauty treatments prescribed for the women, six months with oil of myrrh and six with perfumes and cosmetics. And this is how she would go to the king: Anything she wanted was given her to take with her from the harem to the king’s palace.
