My child,
I have not left you to journey this life on your own. I have given you my Holy Spirit living in you. He is there to empower, lead, and guide you through the trials of life. He is your comforter and confidant. He is there to encourage you to persevere when things get tough. He will illuminate my written word to you and bring you into understanding the truth which brings freedom.
Do not forget to speak to Him and ask Him for help. He is your own Personal Trainer!
Ask Him about your training programme, what to study, what to pray, when to fast, and when to rest in my presence. Yes, even athletes have periods of rest to allow their bodies to recuperate from their physical training. In the same way listen to my Holy Spirit who will guide you into resting in my presence.
Activation: Sit with Holy Spirit and ask Him to reveal the training programme He has for you for the next month. Write it down and ask for His help to keep to it. Ask Him if there are things you are doing that are taking you away from His presence, and you need to give up, or things you need to include in your routine to take you into a deeper relationship with Him. Ask Him to teach you how to rest in Him.

. . . train yourself to be godly. Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.
