Open up your heart

What is in your heart? Check your heart and see what’s there. Root out anything that is hidden. Root out any hidden selfish ambition or unforgiveness or secret hatred.

Your heart is most precious to me, for it is there that I chose to be enthroned, and it is there that you will find my voice. Do not allow your heart to be hardened, weighed down and encased by a hard shell of bitterness and unforgiveness.

Allow me to gently search with my light and expose what is there. Come before me now in repentance and submission and I will fill your heart with love and joy and expand it to receive more of me.

Choose this day to give yourself completely over to me, and see what I will do in your life.

Hebrews 3:13-15
But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end, while it is said, “TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE, DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS, AS WHEN THEY PROVOKED ME.”
