The Lord showed me a rose bush, beautiful and bright with colour, yet surrounded by thick thorns that cut into anything that was close to the flower. I watched as, within a moment, the thorns withered, died and were gone. The rose was now able to stand tall, emanating its full beauty without hindrance.
The Lord says “in the past; it brought much difficult to try and reach for my glory and, in our striving, you were wounded and hurt. But, because you pursued me still and continually chased after me despite your pain, I am opening up a clear way for you to come and experience my glory. Your perseverance brought tears to my eyes, and now I am calling you in. For I am causing my glory and beauty to be easily accessible to you.”
Oh that you may encounter God’s love and wonder without strife and, today, be fully embraced by Him. Your key to open this experience up? Continue to praise the Lord and ask Him to take you deeper; for now, you will go deeper.
Psalm 63:3
Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips will praise You.
