Jesus Christ, our King, the Lord of our lives, wants to train His people in day-and-night/night-and-day worship; worship out of the depths of our sanctified spirits. It is as if an intensive ‘bootcamp’ or ‘workout’ has been opened up, where the bride of Christ can enter and be trained in personal, Spirit-filled worship.
And the Lord says to you today:
‘Would you train your spirit to flow with my Spirit in worship, continually? Yes, continually – all the time – as you sleep and in your waking hours. Even as your body and mind are occupied on the daily tasks of life and even as your flesh sleeps, train your spirit to soar; to never sleep but instead to pursue constant intimacy and worship in my presence.’
Luke 2:36-37
There was also a prophetess, Anna, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was very old; she had lived with her husband seven years after her marriage, and then was a widow until she was eighty-four. She never left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying.
