My Treasure  –  your Lion Bites word for today

God longs to give you His treasure. Can you imagine what His treasure would be like?

Perhaps you think it would be a cavern filled with crowns, sceptres and possibly swords and other objects made of gold decorated with diamonds, rubies and other precious jewels. But that is not the treasure God is talking to you about. His treasure that He wants to give to you is greater.

Maybe you think of the love in your family, your wife or your husband. Maybe your children come to mind or that long expected grandchild. But this is not the treasure that is on God’s mind.

He has promised you health and wholeness, peace and safety, a future and a hope. He wants to give you all this and more. But again, this not what He is talking about.

God’s treasure is a key that will open up a door to bring you closer to Him than ever before. This is a key that will bring wisdom and knowledge; a key that will unlock revival and transformation. What is this treasure? The fear of the Lord is His treasure and He is restoring this to the earth once more. Search it out and you’ll be given this treasure.

Isaiah 33:6
In that day he will be your sure foundation, providing a rich store of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the LORD will be your treasure.
