My Banner is Love – your Lion Bites word for today

Your Saviour is coming to you today to renew your strength and to give you new and restored hope in Him. He is the One whose name is more delightful than anything the world can offer. He is the One who is utterly beautiful in every way. His mouth and His words are sweetness, and He is altogether lovely!

He is asking you to arise and come with Him; let Him hear your voice, catch the little foxes and the distractions that would take you away from His sweet love. Tell Him that you are faint with love and praise Him for His mercies and the love He has shown you.

The season for dancing has come, and as you dance and sing to your Love, you will see Him standing behind the wall you’ve placed there. As it falls, you will see more clearly than ever that His banner over you is nothing but sheer love.

Look for the banner in your time with Jesus. What does it look like? How does it move? Take time to dwell on His banner of love and even draw what it looks like as a daily reminder that His banner is always sheer love over you.

So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever.
