Muck In

My faithful servant, don’t be surprised by the season of hard work that is ahead of you. Moments of blood, sweat and tears are inevitable. At times the labour will feel dull and monotonous, as if you were on a production line without seeing the end product. But know that there is joy waiting at the end of the day. I am right behind you, cheering you on. Roll up your sleeves, stay put, and get it done. Don’t give up!

Get into the rhythm that I set before you. Listen out for my beat and sense my pace. Keeping in pace with me is vital at this time. If you step outside of my rhythm, the work will become even harder.

As King Solomon’s temple was being built, the bricks were laid one at a time. The end result was magnificent. Look at the bigger picture and know that you are not just laying bricks. It has Kingdom purpose! Render your service to me with a joyful heart and I will sustain you and back you up with physical and emotional capacity.

Activation:

1. Spend some time reflecting on if you have procrastinated in a certain area. Ask the Lord

for original ideas and fresh vision if you find that you lack motivation.

2. Are there any practical goals to be accomplished in the next few weeks? Ask God if you

are in sync with His timeline, or if anything needs re-adjusting.

Colossians 3:23-24 (ESV)

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord

you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.

Psalm 128:2 (NLV)

For you will eat the fruit of your hands. You will be happy and it will be well with you.

Proverbs 16:3 (NIV)

Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.
