Moving from wilderness to promised land – your Lion Bites word for today

You may have felt like you have been standing on unstable ground in recent times – almost as if the floor beneath you has been moving – and all that was once certain and sure is no longer so. This is because you have been in your own personal wilderness time, like the Israelites in Moab.

Just as their tents were only made for a period of time, your current situation and surroundings were not designed to last forever and now God is forcefully moving you into your promised land.
As you accept and align with this work in your life, your ‘tent’ is dismantled and you are crossed over. Quickly and swiftly you may move to possess your promised land.

It will take a while for you to adjust to your new surroundings, yet you are in the place that you have believed and fought for over many years.

So God reminds you that where you have been up until now was only temporary preparation ground: a place where you were trained, set free, aligned and delivered. Now you are in the land of action, where you begin to fulfil the call of God that He has placed upon your shoulders. Do not fret when all seems uncertain, for God is now moving you to possess your promised land.

Joshua 3:16-17
So the people crossed over opposite Jericho. The priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord stopped in the middle of the Jordan and stood on dry ground, while all Israel passed by until the whole nation had completed the crossing on dry ground.
