Love that Heals

My child, I have extended your wings and enlarged your vision so that you can receive the people I will send you. Don’t think you’re not equipped for this for I know how I have chiselled you in these last months and years.

Now is the time to welcome the desperate, the hungry and the thirsty, even if by social standards they look as if they don’t need anything and have it all together. Look beyond appearances, my dear. Look in the spirit and hear the cry of their hearts.

Envelop them in your embrace which is in fact an extension of mine. Don’t be entangled by any prejudice. Did I not forgive the Samaritan woman?

I am calling you to love those whom I assign to you, whatever their walk of life.

Love them, help them pursue healing and journey with them in their pursuit of freedom.

Activation: Ask the Lord to search your heart and ask for forgiveness if you have partnered with judgement and prejudice against any person or people group. Then follow the Holy Spirit as he highlights anyone he wants you to pour his love into. Also, be specific. Ask what words, attitude and approach you should use, as every person is unique.

John 4:9-10 (NIV)

The Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.) Jesus answered her,

“If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.”

John 4:13-15 (NLT)

Jesus replied, “Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again. But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.”

“Please, sir,” the woman said, “give me this water! Then I’ll never be thirsty again, and I won’t have to come here to get water.”

Romans 8:1-2 (NIV)

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.
