Look to Jesus – your Lion Bites word for today

Hebrews 12:2
…fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

In the midst of your present trials and uncertainties in life, you need to look away from them, to Jesus, where He is sitting at the right hand of the throne of God.

If you have ever felt seasick on a boat, you may have been advised to focus on the horizon to gain equilibrium again. In the same way you can look away to Jesus, the King of heaven and earth, to find perspective in your life.

As you see your earthly life from the perspective of heaven, where you are seated with God in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6), your outlook towards your circumstances will radically change.

You can jump over that wall as David did!
