Lay it down! – your Lion Bites word for today

Often, in times of celebration, new beginnings and reflections, there is a place that God calls us to, a place of simply laying down those things which we are unable to make sense of, or the questions which seemingly have no answer. These come to hold captive and constrain our minds to the wonder and glory of our Creator. For some, there have been many years of choosing to hold onto rebellious thinking and in defiance they have said, ‘I will not lay this down until I have my answer!’
But God calls you to lay these burdens down: do not look back and instead come and step into the new – where He may have first place in all.

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God!  How unsearchable are His judgements and unfathomable His ways!
