In the Cleft

Abiding in me is your only place of safety in the days ahead, both in the shaking to come but also as I pour out my glory in greater measure on the earth.  I am the rock on which your feet must be planted in order to stand secure. Just as I hid Moses in the cleft of the rock while my goodness and glory passed by, so too you need to be hidden in me in the days of my glory to come.

As the world around you shakes, know that I am able to hold you securely. Everything that is not of me is destined to crumble and fall.

Allow me to shake what is not of eternal value.

Allow me to remove what will not last.

Allow me to set your feet on solid ground.

Allow me to establish you firmly.

First the shaking, then the fire of my glory.

I will test you in the shaking. I will test you with my fire.  I will test you with my goodness and glory.  Remain in me and live!

Activation: Many of us have been through a process of allowing God to strip away that which is not for this season, but as the shaking continues, he is testing and refining us so that He and He alone is our place of security.  You may like to invite Holy Spirit to search your heart still deeper for that which He wants to remove from or realign in your life so as to build a secure foundation in you for the days ahead.

‭‭Exodus‬ ‭33:21-22‬ ‭(AMP‬‬)

Then the Lord said, “Behold, there is a place beside Me, and you shall stand there on the rock; and while My glory is passing by, I will put you in a cleft of the rock and protectively cover you with My hand until I have passed by.

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:26-29‬ ‭(ESV‬‬)

At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” This phrase, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of things that are shaken—that is, things that have been made—in order that the things that cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.

Psalm 62:2 (ESV)

He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken.
