Implode or Explode – your Lion Bites word for today

Isaiah 43:18-19
Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

We in a time where the ‘new’ has becoming a ‘bigger new’ than we could ever have imagined in days past. So many things are changing in the world: politically, financially, medical advances and so on. Particularly in the church things are changing – some even are disappearing and others are emerging.

I heard the Lord ask, ‘Implosion or explosion – where is your life today?’
* Implode means ‘to burst, or cause to burst, inwards’
* Explode means ‘to expand suddenly with a loud noise owing to a release of internal energy’

Are there things in your life which are imploding – producing no fruit and coming to an end? These are the ‘former things’. Seek the Holy Spirit and ask what the ‘new things’ are which He is waiting to explode into your life: new blessings, new relationships and new opportunities.
