I am the God who is immanent. You have held onto the promise that I am with you, that I am close but without the manifestation of that reality in your life. The words have held truth but not the abundance of life I intended.
My immanence is a present truth for you as you become more aware of the reality of the spirit realm, the reality of my presence and my glory in a more tangible, and at times, overwhelming way.
This is not something you have to wait for or work up to. I am here, right now, in a way that is inescapable, undeniable. The weight of my presence. The reality of me in you and you in me.
I am the indwelling Spirit, the one who is closer than your very skin. Your language, behaviour, prayers, and thoughts have all aligned with a false reality that you have to try to get into my presence. Oh, my children, you have worked so hard to try to reach me how the enemy has deceived you. He has kept you from the reality that I am with you at all times; I have never left you.
I am the immanent God.
Colossians 1:17 (NIV)
He is before all things, and in him, all things hold together.
Acts 17:27-28a (TPT)
He has done this so that every person would long for God, feel their way to him, and find him ~ for he is the God who is easy to discover! It is through him that we live and function and have our identity …
Matthew 1:23 (NIV)
The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God with us’).
