I will unwind you – your Lion Bites word for today

You have been like a tightly coiled rope, stressed and anxious with the troubles that have filled your days. But know that Jesus has given you His Spirit as a helper to you, to come and unwind and undo you, bringing His peace and comfort to surround you.

I heard Him whisper, ‘I know that these days have produced much tension in the midst of your life, resulting in a change in how you act and react toward trouble. When you face a mountain your immediate response is from a place of fear. But, as I come to relieve your tension, you will begin to respond to these mountains from a place of faith and security in who I am and who you are in me.

So, would you let me unwind you, child? Allow me to uncoil the tension and stress in the midst of you and cause you to operate out of faith and security and not fear and anxiety.’
