Genesis 22:13-14
Then Abraham raised his eyes and looked, and behold, behind him a ram caught in the thicket by his horns; and Abraham went and took the ram and offered him up for a burnt offering in the place of his son. Abraham called the name of that place The LORD Will Provide, as it is said to this day, “In the mount of the LORD it will be provided.”
There are no qualifications needed to be on the mount of the Lord. You, with empty hands – come! You, who are thirsty and hungry – come! Come with your empty hands, come with your lack to the mount of the Lord.
It is a place of praise; it is a place of worship and sacrifice; it is a place where your eyes are on me. In this place where you pour yourself out before me in adoration and praise, I WILL PROVIDE!
I will provide and no one will take it away from you. So come, with your empty hands and with your praise and adoration, and I will fill them. I will provide.
Psalm 24:3-5
Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? And who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood And has not sworn deceitfully. He shall receive a blessing from the LORD And righteousness from the God of his salvation.
