I am the great I AM

In your sigh and cry and groan, in your distress and discomfort – I am the God of all comfort.

In the turbulence and shaking, in the worry and stress – I am the God who brings peace.

In the pain of your body – I am the God who heals all your diseases.

In the fear of your nights – I am the God of love.

In the extreme situations where hope is hard to source – I am the God of hope.

In the place of demeaning and belittling – I am the God who sets you at my right hand.

In the place of shadows and darkness –I am the God of light.

Do not believe any longer that I am impotent to radically alter any situation you are in.

I am the great I AM.

Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.
