The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Wake up, Church and throw off the familiarity you have with my spirit and my presence. For in the pursuit of friendship with me, you have forgotten the fullness of my nature, and in that, you have stopped fearing me.
Have you been wondering and questioning life? Unsure where to turn? Lacking counsel or direction? You are longing for the wisdom that only comes from me. A wisdom that can only be found in fearing me. Fearing me isn’t because I am angry or mad but fearing me is an awakening of the purity and holiness found in me and the reality of me in your day-to-day life.
It is seeing me in my glory and majesty and seeing how separated I am from all things defiled and sinful. Fear me, and I will give you the wisdom to navigate life and situations. Fear me, and I will bring to you the joy of my nature and my character. Learn to be my friend at the same time as learning to see me in my fullness.
Proverbs 9:10 NIV
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
Proverbs 12:27 NIV
The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, turning a person from the snares of death.
