I am the good Shepherd, and I care for and love my sheep.
Many of you lament over your past actions and inaction. Many worry that their consciences have been seared and their ears dulled to my voice. But I say to you my beloved; ‘Look to me and to my blood, shed for my sheep. You are mine.’
Cast your cares and your past to the foot of the cross. Bring your sins to me; don’t hide them, for in me you will find forgiveness and freedom. As far as the east is from the west, so far have I – and will I – remove those sins and failings from you. I am your righteousness and your justice, and I restore your conscience now!
I am the good Shepherd and my sheep hear my voice (John 10), so come to pasture with me and listen to my voice and my sweet songs over you.
Psalm 23:1-3 (NASB)
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
