He wants to give you more – your Lion Bites word for today

I saw a great funnel, wide and open. It was full of God’s goodness and blessing: His joy, His wisdom, His bounty, His forgiveness, His provision, His power. 

He was pouring it out on you. Directly from heaven to you. Everything He intends for you is there – more love than you have ever imagined, more power to live a life beyond the norm, more ability to live joyously, more perception and understanding, more grace for every situation, more wisdom for dealing with your circumstances, more words of truth that bring light. All this is there for you to take, to receive. I felt the yearning in His heart that you might open yourself to receive more, to widen His access to you, to open the bottom of the funnel that you sometimes keep control of, so that His blessings and power flow uncontrollably and lavishly into your life. Stop believing that He only has a small amount for you. He has so much more for you today than you ever imagined.

You are His beloved, welcomed-home child. God wants you to take what He has already given you. It’s yours.

But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate.’ 
 
Ephesians 3:16-19 
I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
