Grow To Your Destiny

I hear the Spirit of the Lord asking “Are you growing to the size of
your environment or to the size of your destiny?”

Many of us are limiting ourselves at the moment by the environment we
are in. We are responding to the call of God on our lives with responses
like: ‘Once lockdown lifts, then I will pursue this.’ ‘Once I’ve
got a better job, I will then be able to live out my destiny’. Or
‘One day when this event happens, then I will be able to do what God
asks me.’

Yet I hear the Lord saying, “I didn’t call you to one day in the
future; I called you today to be all I have made you to be. It is time
to burst out the box of your environment and be the fullness of who I
made you to be where you are right now.”

Your circumstances do not dictate who you are, your destiny does!

Activation: Ask the Lord this question today – “What are you teaching
me now, in my environment, which will be something I will need in my
future? What small step toward my destiny could I take today?” Make
the declaration and agreement today to bust out of your limitation and
into the fullness of who God has called you to be.

Genesis 39: 2-4 (NIV)
The Lord was with Joseph so that he prospered, and he lived in the house
of his Egyptian master. When his master saw that the Lord was with him
and that the Lord gave him success in everything he did, Joseph found
favour in his eyes and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge
of his household, and he entrusted to his care everything he owned

Genesis 39:20-23 (NIV)
Joseph’s master took him and put him in prison, the place where the
king’s prisoners were confined.But while Joseph was there in the
prison, the Lord was with him; he showed him kindness and granted him
favour in the eyes of the prison warden. So the warden put Joseph in
charge of all those held in the prison, and he was made responsible for
all that was done there. The warden paid no attention to anything under
Joseph’s care, because the Lord was with Joseph and gave him success
in whatever he did.
