God is calling and sending His church again. He is speaking to you today and saying, “I have called you, and I have sent you! I do so again. Today I call you, and I send you out. You are my church. You are my body. You are my solution for a dying and broken world. So be sent and be the solution!”
There is a cry from the Father and a cry from Heaven’s hosts to send the church in these days, and there is a response to the call required from you as an individual in the body of Christ.
Will you go?
You have all you require to fulfil the call and be sent – you lack nothing! This requires only a personal heart response and a leap of faith, declaring “God, send me!”
As Jesus tells the blind man to go and wash in the pool of Siloam (which means sent, and is derived from the word apostolic) so He is calling you to be washed in His waters of sending and of the apostolic. As you spend time in prayer washing in these waters, you will begin to see just as the blind man saw – your eyes will be opened to see the new things that God desires to do through you.
So be washed and be sent today. Set your gaze upon the ‘new places’ you are being sent to.
John 9:6-7
After saying this, he spat on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.
