Go out and look at the harvest field – your Lion Bites word for today

The fields are white and ready for harvest! Who will go? Who will go and bring in the harvest? Who will go out with our Lord and bring it in?’

Jesus is calling us out of our comfortable seats: those comfy seats in our churches, our offices, our front rooms… He is bringing a dis-ease to us in our cosy sitting places as He calls for His church to ‘go out’. This is not a new call of the Lord but one which is being re-emphasised at this time because there is a new wave of harvest about to be released in the earth – and it is ready now.

He says to us, ’Go out and look at the harvest field – see where I am beckoning you. I am re-shifting and refocusing your gaze to particular areas and people groups at this time. You are all called to a specific group or groups of people and I am alerting you to where you are called, so that you may indeed ‘go out’ with purpose into the fields and harvest.’

This is a harvest of souls, yes, but also of righteousness and provision (including specific finances) for the building of God’s Kingdom on the earth in this hour. So let us reap!
