Give God the Glory!

‘Glorify my name! Give the Lord your God the Glory! Who else will do it? Who else will glorify my name in your street, your neighbourhood, your city, your nation? Who else will glorify my name in your workplace, your school, your university, your social group?’

The Lord hears the cry of His people, who are calling for His throne to be established in their nation.

Today He asks each one of us if we will be the agents who begin this. He asks us to glorify Him – give Him the glory in everything we do… and do everything to His glory. If we don’t, who else will?

1 Chronicles 16:23-25, 28-29
Sing to the Lord, all the earth; proclaim His salvation day after day. Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all peoples. For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; He is to be feared above all gods.
Ascribe to the Lord, all you families of nations, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name; bring an offering and come before him. Worship the Lord in the splendour of His holiness.
