Fruitfulness

I am bringing you into a new season of fruitfulness. Even now the years of hard labour are at an end. Too often you have seen a small bit of fruitfulness in your life, only to see it cut off. I pruned you in past seasons that you might bring forth more and more fruit. I have carefully lifted your drooping hearts and, gently washed them in my word that I might cause you to grow and trust again. Out of the bruising, faith is even now arising, and your hearts are swelling with freshness of life. Out of the hardness of the last season, I am bringing forth the very best of fruit from your life. Stay fully connected to me. Watch what I am bringing forth in this season. You will be amazed at my goodness as you look back and see how I have led you.

John 15:5 and 15:16a
I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit – fruit that will last…
