Firm foundations

Revelation 18:1-4
After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illumined with his glory. And he cried out with a mighty voice, saying, “   Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place of demons and a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hateful bird. For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the passion of her immorality, and the kings of the earth have committed acts of immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich by the wealth of her   sensuality.” I heard another voice from heaven, saying, “Come out of her, my people, so that you will not participate in her sins and receive of her plagues;

The days are coming and even in this season you will see failings and fallings in the world’s systems. That which was once like rock will become like shifting sand.

So this day the Lord asks you to look at the foundations in your life: What is your hope founded on? What are your financial and business foundations built upon? What about your relationships, your time or your leisure?
This is a time for you to remember that you are in the world but not of the world. This is a day to strip away from your life that which is not founded upon the solid rock of God’s word.

He asks you to look at – and make – your foundations firm today, because the time is coming when every foundation will be exposed.

He asks you, ‘Will you be one of My holy ones who stand resolute as everything around of the world falls? In Me you will have everything you need, and My people will be clothed with My glory.’
