1 Timothy 6:15-16
God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honour and might forever. Amen.
I saw a huge mountain, a great snow-capped, volcanic cone. Smoke and heat poured from its summit. There was power, and terror as the fire from its magma roared. Then I heard the Lord say, ‘I am more powerful than this. I am fire, I am holy, I am who I am. I live in unapproachable light. I made the fiery mountains, the vastness of the snow. I am beyond them and above. My desire for you is holiness; cleanness of heart; fiery passion like mine that sets you apart from all others. Desire to be godly and pure, set aside all that soils and holds and hinders. I reward those who choose holiness. And the reward is my presence.
I see through sin and I burn it off till your purity is beauty, till you shine like the purest gold, till you are more like me. When you feel yourself in my furnace do not draw back, for my fire never harms, it burns off dross and makes you beautiful. You were made to wear white robes, unsullied. So allow me to come in power and refine you. As Moses was changed when he came down from the mountain, expect me to change you. Expect your face to shine with the radiance of me reflected in you! For I am holy.’
Psalm 24:3-4
Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD?
Who may stand in his holy place?
The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
1 Timothy 6:11-14
But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. In the sight of God, who gives life to everything, and of Christ Jesus, who while testifying before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I charge you to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ…

My child, you have been wonderfully made by the great...
