Fill yourself with my Word

The Bible is my written Word, it is a weapon that I would have you arm yourself with. The very words within those pages carry my life, my breath. Fill yourself with those words, memorise them, think about them, sing them, repeat them. Allow them to permeate through your entire being. Just as my Son, Jesus Christ, used my written word as a weapon when the enemy came to tempt him, so too I am asking you to fill yourself with my Scripture, so that when the enemy comes to tempt you, you are ready with the truth.

The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.”
