Enjoy life  – your Lion Bites word for today

God has made you to enjoy life, giving you friends to laugh with, family to belong to, places to live, beauty to admire. God has made you to enjoy life. It’s easy to get tripped up into thinking that everything must be planned and that every conversation must be profound. Yet, in your humor and in your lite-hearted dialogues, God is present.

Is He not the God who laughs at His enemies? (Psalm 2:4). Or He who makes you laugh without fear of your future? (Proverbs 31:25). Does God not rejoice over you with singing and spinning? (Zephaniah 3:17). He is the one who fills your mouth with laughter! (Job 8:21)

God wants to teach you how to enjoy life again. He has not created you to live a bland and dull existence! Be encouraged to look for the simple and joyous in life, to find humor and laughter in conversations with your friends. Search for opportunities to enjoy life. Whether that’s going for coffee with family, going to the cinema to watch a movie, going golfing with friends or sitting with your feet up and eating your favorite meal; start to enjoy life again.
