Drink, for you are not in drought – your Lion Bites word for today

Revelation 22:17
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Let anyone who hears this say, “Come.” Let anyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who desires drink freely from the water of life.
 
When you’re thirsty and close to a water source you take a drink. You wouldn’t deny yourself what your parched lips were crying out for.

Jesus, the source of living water, means that we do not have to be dry and weak; we do not need to walk as if we are in the midst of a drought. There’s no charge to drink – it’s freely given! Remember His promise to us:
 
…whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.  John 4:14
 
The personal drought you feel is not your destination. Walk away from any deception that it might be and instead drink deep of Him afresh. Jesus will not deny those who come to Him – the fresh, clear water of eternal life is yours, freely flowing to you from the cross where His work was accomplished. Drink deep of the living water today!
 
Revelation 21:5-7
And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” And he also said, “It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life. All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children.
