Don’t give up – hold fast! – your Lion Bites word for today

Revelation 19:11-13;16
Then I saw heaven opened and a white horse was standing there.  Its rider was named Faithful and True, for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war.  His eyes were like flames of fire and on his head were many crowns.  A name was written on him that no one understood except himself.  He wore a robe dipped in blood and his title was the Word of God… On his robe at his thigh was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords.

Jesus Christ, your Saviour, comes as a rider on a mighty horse to release His sword, His Word, to bring truth and justice into the world. His Word is mighty; it strikes down His enemies and brings freedom to His children. At His shout, barriers are shattered.

And He declares over you: My Word never returns empty but always fulfils that for which it was sent. Do not give up! Hold fast and observe as my righteousness and truth clears a path before you and shields you from your enemy and his attack. Only I am the King and anything that sets itself against me and my children will not prevail.
